                    Power Flow Yoga

                    Power Flow Yoga is a vigorous practice based on Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.  Power Flow is a series of yoga postures that are connected by the breath.  Connecting movement and breath is called "vinyasa."  The breath initiates the movement.  Focusing on the breath brings us into the present moment and stills the mind.

                    Stilling the mind allows tension and stress to be released from the body and the mind.  Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the founder of Ashtanga Yoga, said that with a consistent yoga practice, "wherever you look, you will see God."  Yoga brings peace and clarity.
